The true lord of the flies is the rabbit
though she acts as though the flies annoy her
she attracts them almost out of habit
but twitches when the flies do enjoy her
She cannot help that they find her so grand
for the rabbit does poop where'er she goes
while her fur may be pleasing to the hand
her smell is oft offensive to the nose
A clean cage does not send the flies away
for the rabbit does continue to poop
so the owner bought fly killer today
(she'd hoped not to have to deal with this goop)
The rabbit and owner both hope to wake
to see all the flies in a dead fly lake!
