You may notice it's Friday the thirteenth
a day held as unlucky by many
though some treat it like extra halloween
of superstitious folks there are plenty
Me on the other hand... I'm just happy
I don't have to wake up at 5 am!
tomorrow I won't wish for a nappy,
oh sleep has become such a precious gem!
My week was entirely amazing
most of my days went as well as they could
but I found myself into space gazing
and thinking that some rest would do me good
My Friday the thirteenth brings peace and sleep
... now that's a tradition I'd like to keep
