I really need to finish this paper
but it's already way past my bedtime
and through the night my focus has tapered
now I'm goofing off by writing this rhyme
I'm writing about schools, past and present
and what I think's waiting in the future
I'm pretty sure of this paper's content
but my distractor is the computer
I need to type it so this must stay on
but I can't avoid the internet's call
even as I let out a sleepy yawn
there are many pages that I still trawl
I guess I will try to get back to work
going to bed soon would be quite a perk...
